Hi me@me.me,

I tried posting this in the pc sports games groups but had no luck. I
hope this finds you.

I've been looking all over the place for additional teams for the
Microleague Football 4.0 or 97 versions (I have both games) and
everything seems to point to someone with the initials MG (real name
omitted for privacy). From what I've read, he's the guru when it
comes to this game. He once had a website where you could download
not only the teams but also a converter.

I came across your post regarding the converter and then you said you
found it. Then I saw the post in this group in german and started to
worry. I'm desperate. I'll try anything.

I'm assuming you're the guru. If so, is there ANY way I could
purchase/trade/beg/borrow etc the teams from you. I'm willing to pay
you for your time and trouble - I know you went through alot of work
finding people to help with the conversions and whatnot. At one point
I was able to contact one of the developers of the original game and
he sent me some converted files but they didn't work - he said Sports
Illustrated fixed the game so you had to buy the teams directly from
them.

Anyway, it seems you found a way to fix all that. My friends and I
still play the game, although it is only once a year during Super Bowl
weekend. Despite this, it is still a big deal - there's a trophy and
bragging rights involved. We even rent a chalet just to get away from
the wives! We've tried many other games but Microleague Football seems
to be the only one where we can call plays (without having them come
up on the screen) and see the players actually run it (instead of text
or X's and O's with arrows).

Any help you could provide would be most appreciated.

And if you're not MG the guru, I'm sorry for wasting your time.

Sincerely,

Tony
