Ik heb enkele vraagjes omtrent C:

Waarom zijn in de meeste header bestanden 
( zoals stdio.h ) alle functies als extern gedeclareerd?

Waar dit __BEGIN_DECLS en __END_DECLS  voor?
mijn stdio.h begint met dat en ik heb dat nog nooit 
gezien?

Waar dient extern "C" {  // header file }; 
voor?

Dit dit komt uit bestanden van glibc 2.2.x
