stel ik heb een xml file

<root>
  <node1>
    <node2>
      foobar
    </node2>
  </node1>
</root>


is het dan mogelijk om, nadat ik met Xerces een Document object van
deze xml gemaakt heb rechtstreeks de waarde "foobar" op te vragen.

zoiets in de aard van:

String result = docObject.getNodeValue("root/node1/node2");

Het lukt me door het Document object "schil per schil" uit elkaar te
halen.
Maar als je laatste element 7 nodes diep zit is dit nogal
onproductief.
