Not exactly a programmer's question, I realise, but I thought you might be able to advise better than anyone. Forgive me if this seems inappropriate. I mistakenly uninstalled my SiS_MM1.05 from Add/Remove Programs (thinking it was some obscure piece of software I'd tried and forgotten to uninstall earlier). The files themselves only consist of a .isu and a .bmp of a rose! ...and I don't know what an isu file is. After panicking when the restart resulted in a maximum of 16 colours and everything on the screen went big, I started trying to find out about this and track down the missing driver. A friend told me it was a driver and just to download it (I don't have disks for the software on my PC) and reinstall it. I couldn't find the SiS_MM1.05, but SiS_1.04 driver was available, so I downloaded that as a zip. Anyway, the question that's puzzling me now is - having downloaded it - what next? My ZipCentral says it won't install by it's automatic installation routine (as there's no installation program in it). I don't know what to do. In fact I still have the exact folders and files of the 1.05 as I always zip everything before I uninstall it, and I've put them back, but I don't know how to get my driver working. The 1.04 contained pretty much the same files as the 1.05, so now I have two versions and no clues. I wondered if I need to do some tweaking to the registry, or is there an installer I need? Can you give me any advice, please? I'm running Windows 98 2nd ed. Thanks in advance John
