Hallo,

Ik zou vanuit VB een doscommando moeten uitvoeren.
Dit kan ik met shell.
Maar hoe krijg ik de return value in mijn vbapplicatie?

Kijk eens naar de parameters van command.com (of cmd.exe in win2k/xp).
Was vroeger iets in het genre van "command.com /y /c dir"

die /c voerde uit en kwam terug denk ik en als je /k gebruikte dan voerde die 
uit en bleef die in de shell.
Maar dit best eens opzoeken.
