This is a formal Request for Dicussion for the creation of an unmoderated
Belgian Usenet newsgroup, called "be.providers.adsl".  This newsgroup should
contain postings about ADSL technology in Belgium and abroad.  This RFD runs
in both Dutch and English.  This RFD will be published in:

CHARTER


The reason of this proposal, is mainly, because there is currently no
general group for ADSL experiences, and providers.  It's meant to
concentrate the ADSL experiences and problems a bit more, rather than
posting this in general support/internet groups of different providers.  At
the moment, there are many local ADSL discussion groups, but it would be in
the best interested of the customer (no matter what provider), that this
group could be open to the general public.

CHARTER



De reden van dit voorstel, is in hoofdzaak, om een algemene ADSL groep te
creeren, met ADSL ervaringen met verschillende providers in Belgie.  Het is
bedoeld om deze ervaringen, en problemen bij installatie en configuratie te
concentreren in een nieuwsgroep, in plaats van alle ervaringen per provider
in lokale nieuwsgroepen te gaan plaatsen.  Het is dan ook in het voordeel
van ADSL gebruikers (onafhankelijk van hun provider) dat deze groep
openstaat voor het grote publiek.

This newsgroup is meant for people who want to give their opinion about the
ADSL technology in general, their experiences, and the potential problems

In this newsgroups, it's *not* allowed to post commerical advertisements,
that have nothing to do with the xDSL technolgoy.  Neither should there be
contact advertisements, sexual contacts, etc...   Everything that is
breaking
this clear and simple rule, will be seen as Usenet-Abuse.  Also, the usual
houserules of be.* discussion groups, apply to this newsgroup.

Misbruik


In deze nieuwsgroep, is het niet toegelaten om commerciele advertenties te
plaatsen, die niets te maken hebben met de xDSL technologie.  Daaronder
vallen ook contact advertenties, sexuele contactadvertenties, enz..  Alles
dat tegen deze simpele regel ingaat, zal worden aanzien als Usenet-Misbruik.
Ook zijn de gebruikelijke regels van be.* nieuwsgroepen van toepassing op
deze nieuwsgroep.
