Dear User!

I thought you would somehow be interested in a brief introduction to the
science of artificial intelligence. Many people may watch the new
Spielberg's movie "AI" and don't really know what efforts and research
are hidden behind this fascinating technology. Artificial intelligence
has a relatively young history which began almost in the beginning of
the 20th century. Great thinkers such as Alan Mathison Turing (turing
machine) contributed a lot to the development of artificial intelligence
...

What do you think? Should artificially intelligent systems work like the
human mind (Minsky) or should they have a more logically structured
architecture (McCarthy)? This is one of the most disputed question
today...

AI is a really complex science with an interesting evolution and a
promising, but also speculative future full of hope, dilemmas and fears.
