I received some "commmon" spam today, (you know, the kind that ends
with around a dozen asteriks and a 5 digit number?) I checked out
it's source and than went to it's ISP's page to see about it's policy
and abuse address. Megsinet.net 's policy is to charge spammers $150
bucks per spam complaint! That's the best antispam policy that I've
seen yet! I hope other ISPs follow that trend.

Gee, you'd think that would slow down the amount of Usenet and email
spam they're emitting. I just got spam from megsinet again.

Yeah! Same here, no response to my complaints.
Multiple spams received last week, diligent complaints sent.
Besides no benefit to me, unless they give me the $150.

Nice policy however I have received 3 SPAMs from them in the last week
and no response to reports to abuse@megsinet.net. A good policy without
enforcement is not worth much.
