Well, for pages (versus images) you can always throw
a simple SSI into every document and have it write the
log file in whatever format you want. It's perfectly
silly for Verio to encourage such inefficiency but
there you go...

Yeah, that's simple enough. Just run the script:

~/www/bin/rotate_logs

from a daily crontab.

It's just a simple shell script so you can hack it
around if you don't like their (ugly) file naming
conventions and/or want to make other mods/additions.
I looked at it and then rolled a little crontab of my
own to handle the rotations the way I like 'em, run
some analog reports etc.

Speaking of analog... don't bother with their old
and hacked version. Just download 5.1 and make.
It doesn't take much disk esp. if you delete the 
*.o files (and even *.c if you're really pushed).
