This is weird--when I try to telnet to my new Verio account this morning, the connection keeps aborting before I get the login prompt. I can do FTP, I can do POP, and I can access my web site. So I think everything is okay on my end, and the site seems to be alive. It just won't let me make a telnet connection, either from my Mac or from here on shell5. I tried to call Verio support a few minutes ago, but the line was busy. I need to work on a business project for a little while, then will try the support folks again if I still can't get connected. Meanwhile, I thought I'd post a note here to see whether anyone else is having similar problems. Also, are there any further diagnostics I could run? (Traceroute gets to my new site just fine.) Patty
