  Even then, when you slow down as a hint that they may want to wake
  up and pass, somehow this seems to take forever to get thru their
  thick skulls....then they always act like you should have simply
  driven off the road.  Even on a clear highway, speed up and the
  cretin speeds up, slow down and the cretin slows down.  Worse, it is
  ALWAYS some moron in a vehicle that never has anywhere near as good
  brakes as the one you are driving, so you know that in the event
  of an emergency stop you are gonna get hit in the rear.  

  Few get the message even after several taps of the brake
  lights...usually you have to take your foot clear off the gas
  before their subhuman consciousness manages to figure out that
  they are a bit too close.  

  Too bad it ain't politically correct to use the old railroad rail
  rear bumpers and locked brakes to remove those cretins from the gene
  pool.   They certainly don't deserve to be there.
