I spoke withTech Support around 8:15 this morning. They said no one's log
files were generated, but that they were hoping to regenerate them this
morning -- if they were not lost.

Best is more and more resembling the chaos at Slip.net just before I
finally jumped ship 3.5 years ago to come here.

I hope Best shapes up (but I am not very optimistic in this regard).
After 3.5 years with the same e-mail address, and no more than 3-4 total
or so "since the Beginning" I am wearily still replying to messages that
start: "I hope this is your current e-mail address, you've had so many."

I'm also reluctant to abandon Best, because (to mix metaphors) it may
just be going from a frying pan to the fire unless I spend a zillion
hours investigating the move.

(And, just my luck, after my research, big fish eats littler fish eats
littler fish...)

Wearily,

Bob L.

No logs were lost. The logsplit routines started running again around
9am.
