There is a company called BioImage that makes aCCD based digitizing system that is intended mostly for use in scanning autrads of 2-D gels. I think that they have systems for other applications though, and may warrant looking into. I dont have any info on their address (I am at home now...), but do remember something about Ann Arbor Michigan (but dont quote me). If you have an interest,I can probably dig something up tomorrow at the lab. Just let me know. (Also, if anyone out there has any info on BioImage, feel free to contribute) Keith PS Isnt it kind of difficult to dissect out those small parts (Pituitaries or Hypothalimi (sp?) I assume) and then to put them into some suitable container that would allow measurement using Archimedes principle? Geez, seems so to me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Keith O. Elliston | Waksman Institute Bitnet: ELLISTON@BIOVAX | P.O.
