I am trying to add the pir (codata) database to SRS 7.1 but it looks
like the default pir.i ,pir.is  are for GCG format . Is there a codata
version somewhere ?

You can find my icarus parsers for the CODATA format of PIR
at the "SRS Description" section of IUBio Archive's SRS
server:
http://iubio.bio.indiana.edu/srs6bin/cgi-bin/wgetz?-page+LibInfo+-lib+PIR
