Jim,

Sometimes problems do crop up with mailers since BIOSCI spans
a variety of networks and machines running a variety of software. I
have also seen some people who have received duplicates because they
signed up at more than one BIOSCI node (for what reason I am not sure
although I suspect that it might stem from people sending SUBSCRIBE
notices directly to the newsgroups instead of to the appropriate
biosci@xxxxx addresses below). If anyone is receiving duplicates I
would be happy to help sort the problem out. To do so, however,
please remail *both* copies of the message to me. While I can also
help resolve problems in Europe, if you are using a European BIOSCI
node you should send both copies to your local node at one of the
following addresses. If you are unsure which node you receive mail
from, look carefully at your mail message header or else just pass the
duplicates on to me.

My address is kristoff@net.bio.net.
