I would like the permission to gateway my new list EXOTIC-L to
rec.pets.birds. Several people on rec.pets.birds have offered
the suggestion that they would like to keep the information
discussed on rec.pets.birds in one central location (i.e. the
more people that read a question, the better the response).

EXOTIC-L is set up to discuss the health and husbandry of exotic pet
birds. I feel that a lot of the questions and answers that appear
in rec.pets.birds will be relevent to those discussed in EXOTIC-L.
I am hopeing that EXOTIC-L will have a more social atmosphere between
it's subscribers than the just-the-facts type of posts seen on
rec.pets.birds, but the facts themselves need to be distributed to
as many of the people interested as possible.

TIA,
