Due to a disk failure the VM spool was lost this morning on our AUVM
system. Basically this means all incoming e-mail, as well as BitNet files
passing through us, were lost. It is possible that some posts to mailing
lists based here or files passing through our mailing list/newsgroup
gateway were lost.

We are restoring the spool to its state Saturday morning shortly after
midnight (when the last backup was taken). This may cause some duplicate
files and posts to be generated.

We regret any inconvenience.
