Brief description of HUMAGE-L, the list for HUMANISTIC EFFECTS OF AGING:

The Humanities and Arts Committee of the Gerontological Society of America
(GSA) sponsors the HUMAGE-L electronic forum as part of its effort to
encourage the development of humanistic interpretations in the field of
gerontology.

Since persons interested in the humanistic, artistic, philosophical, and
ethical dimensions of aging are scattered across disciplines as well as the
world, we hope this medium will provide a convenient avenue for the free
exchange of ideas and viewpoints, as well as animated discussion about the
various dimensions of aging.

We would prefer that this list to be read-only; to post to the list, the
poster must be subscribed to humage-l@asuvm.inre.asu.edu or
humage-l@asuacad.bitnet.

We request that auvm.american.edu (the standard gateway) be our gateway for
this list.
