In accordance with the bit.admin gateway procedure, I am formally
notifying that I intend to ask for a change in the DIPL-L
(bit.listserv.dipl-l) gateway.

I am asking that this gateway be moved to rec.games.diplomacy, and
that bit.listserv.dipl-l, be removed.

Both of these groups serve the same function, and often carry
the same traffic. It is felt, that by combining the two
groups, that net resources would be reduced, DIPL-L membership would
be reduced, and some of the general confusion in the Diplomacy community
would be eliminated.

The charter of both groups is the Discussion of the Game of Diplomacy
