Because of mixup posts from the latter part of yesterday were lost here
at auvm.american.edu. This means that some post to Usenet newsgroups at
sites other than auvm.american.edu were not posted to their respective
mailing lists.

(The NNTPRCVR disk filled up and it stopped accepting posts. Our gateway
machine only keeps posts for one day. Although the NNTPRCVR problem was
fixed today, any posts from yesterday which were not received have been
lost.)

We regret the problem and are taking steps to figure out how to monitor
NNTPRCVR to make sure it is running.
