there are some groups in the "bit" distribtion which are duplicates of groups in the traditional usenet hierarchy. these bit groups either provide a digestified form of a regular newsgroup, or rebroadcast a newsgroup as mail, up to a week after the real news has gone out depending on propogations. If you are a news site getting the bit groups I would recommend that you take note of this and stop propogating the following groups.
