For information on BitNet, the following files are available from BITNIC:
BITNET INTRO
BITNET OVERVIEW
APPLY INFO1
If you're on BitNet (as you appear to be) send a GET command to LISTSERV
at BITNIC. ("TELL LISTSERV AT BITNIC GET BITNET INTRO"). If you're on the
Internet you can send the GET command as the first line of a mail message
to listserv@bitnic.educom.edu.
The Internet is really a collection of networks. You have a whole pile of
options. One way to start getting information is to ask the support
people at your site about how they connected to the Internet.
