MIDEUR-L@UBVM is now available in Usenet newsgroup bit.listserv.mideur-l.

Mideur-L is a discussion list concerning the culture, history, politics,
arts and practical life of the countries defined in the same way as
EUearn. It concerns itself with the present-day life as well as the past,
and with current relations between the countries of middle Europe
themselves as well as their relations with Western Europe. It is intended
to be a scholarly disxcussion list for the most part, but there are no
restrictions on topics beyond those of normal politeness, good taste, and
academically-accepted norms of debate. It supplements but does not
replace lists such as Poland-L and Hungary-L nor any other geographically
delimited lists.

The list owner is George Frajkor at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada
(gfjrakor@ccs.carleton.ca).
