Please accept my apologies for this inconvenience; we have been the originators
of this junk :-(.

We have PSU Netnews in our system, and were trying to setup a local
BITNET --> Usenet gateway. During three days we have been sending
unintentionally several bit.listserv groups to the usenet; when we became
aware of the problem we stopped the service immediately.

We have sent about 800 messages and 12 bit.listserv groups.
