After discussion informally on the list, it was decided to pursue a USENET
gateway for the BITNET list RC_WORLD (Respiratory Care Health Professionals
World
Forum) hosted at Indiana University Medical Center, Respiratory Care Dept.,
Indianapolis, IN, a list inviting all health professionals involved in respira-
tory care to participate. The list is operated on listserv at INDYCMS.IUPUI.EDU
List owners include David C. Farr <dfarr@indycms.iupui.edu> and myself, John
Hannigan <jhannig@indycms.iupui.edu>. There are now some 160 subscribers to the
list. There are no usenet newsgroups or BITNET mailing lists which address the
concerns of the respiratory care practitioner and other interested health pro-
fessionals.

The proposed name:
bit.med.resp-care.world
