I haven't seen postings on bit.listserv.india-d for quite some time.
Is the mailing list dead? Or is there a problem with the
bit-to-usenet gateway? Or is it none of the above and just a problem
with my news server?

Ravi

Yes, the gateway has been removed because the list owner was no longer
willing to forward the mailing list (due to some changes in the
mailing list subscription policy) to bit.*. I think Jim announced it
here a while ago.

Sridhar.
