Hello ladies and gentlemen;
 
I am now bringing up for  discussion the possibility of bringing my Help-Net
Listserv  distribution list  over to  Usenet as  bit.listserv.help-net in  a
bidirectional manner.
 
Help-Net  is  a forum  where  novice  Bitnet  and  Internet users  can  post
questions related to  any service or applications related to  one or both of
those networks.  Questions often asked on Help-Net generally tend to concern
how a particular service or other  network can be accessed.  Other questions
concern email packages, Kermit, telnet, and ftp.  Help-Net is definitely not
intended to support any one particular network service.  Its very general in
scope.  Anything pertaining in any way to Bitnet or The Internet is fine.
 
Only 1  of Help-Net's  1000+ subscribers  objected to  the idea  of bringing
Help-Net to Usenet.   This person's reason for object are  not sufficient to
trash this  idea.  As such, it  is reasonable to  say that a Usenet  feed of
Help-Net is  a welcome idea.   I am the  Listserv postmaster for  the system
where Help-Net is based and I certainly approve of this idea too and I would
like to expedite this matter ASAP.
 
If anyone objects to this idea, please let me know.
