A week ago, I posted that Joey Stanford (STJS@MARIST/stjs@vm.marist.edu),
list-owner of the CEMS-L mailing list, was interested in gatewaying
his mailing list and misc.emerg-services.

He posted a call for discussion to the mailing list, and on his behalf
I posted a request to misc.emerg-services.

He has since told me that the responses to joining the two have been
VERY positive, with no objections.  There have also been no objections in
bit.admin, or that I've seen posted on misc.emerg-services.

I believe we've met all of the guidelines for establishing a bidirectional
global gateway, either at PSUVM or here at YSUB.

Note: there's a local gateway to bit.listserv.cems-l from NETNEWS@TREARN,
this will have to be undone there.
