We've recently been getting posts to bit.listserv.usrdir-l (showing up in our junk group), but I've seen no newgroup message or discussion here. What is it? -- Harry Flowers Internet: FLOWERS@MEMSTVX1.MEMST.EDU Memphis State University & Bitnet: FLOWERS@MEMSTVX1

I think this is one of the gateways we moved here from Penn State, so I do not know when it was originially established. A complete list of the bit.listserv.* groups is available in this news- group (and and updated list will be posted today or tomorrow). The Listserv description for USRDIR-L says that it is "User Directory List". --- Jim McIntosh (jim@american.edu) The American University Washington DC 20016-8019 USA

While all the groups were set up initially, those with no traffic for 90 days are automatically removed here. That must have been what happened. Thanks. BTW, for those of you running gateways, make sure you don't use a "bit" distribution, as many sites will not pass them (since they aren't included in the regions they accept) even though they do get the bit groups. It's possible that this has kept some of the groups from seeing traffic here. -- Harry Flowers Internet: FLOWERS@MEMSTVX1.MEMST.EDU Memphis State University & Bitnet: FLOWERS@MEMSTVX1
