I am the owner of the Internet list CFS-NEWS, the Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome Electronic Newsletter based at LISTSERV@NIHLIST. I wish to
gateway this newsletter to a moderated newsgroup to be called
bit.listserv.cfs.newsletter. I also wish to gateway CFS-NEWS to a
newsgroup called sci.med.cfs.newsletter which should take over from
bit.listserv.cfs.newsletter once the sci.med.* newsgroup may be approved.
The description of the CFS-NEWS list is as follows:

This independent newsletter seeks to  serve  the  CFS  community  by
quickly  disseminating information about current medical research on
CFS.  It will be issued between 1 and 4 times  each  month  to  give
updates  on these developments.  Other CFS topics of interest to the
readership will also be covered.  Advice and contributions  of  news
items   are   welcome.   Chronic  fatigue  syndrome  is  an  illness
characterized by debilitating fatigue  and  a  variety  of  flu-like
symptoms.   The  condition  is  also known as chronic fatigue immune
deficiency syndrome (CFIDS), myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME)  and  by
other  names, and in the past has been known as chronic Epstein-Barr
virus (CEBV).
