I'm trying to establish a gateway between bitnet mailing lists and
newsgroups in CNews. Does anyone know where I could find software or
shell scripts that would allow me to do this? Thanks in advance for info
you might have on this.

Get 'newsgate' by Rich Salz. There are versions in the alt.sources
archives (the newer one is v1.19). I'm sure there are newer versions
than that, if all else fails, drop Rich a note - rsalz@rodan.uu.net.o

The "news2mail" and "mail2news" programs that make up the bulk of news-
gate will do the job just fine, we're using them here.
