I posted 3 proposals to alt.config for new newsgroups on May 5, and my
newsadmin here at cais.com has today posted control messages to create them.

I'll ask if you could please set up mail gateways for each of the three
groups, as described in the notice I submitted to my newsadmin, which I
copy below.

alt.med.cfs.open (moderated)

This split-off of alt.med.cfs will be a minimally moderated discussion
group about chronic fatigue syndrome / myalgic encephalomyelitis, whereas
alt.med.cfs will remain tightly moderated.  The moderator will be Roger
Burns (address below).  Sites that carry alt.med.cfs will also want to
carry this new group.

alt.med.cfs.chat (moderated)

This will be a companion, split-off group of alt.med.cfs.  It will also be
a tightly moderated discussion group about chronic fatigue syndrome /
myalgic encephalomyelitis, and it will carry spill-over topics from the
original group.  The moderator will be Roger Burns (address below).  Sites
that carry alt.med.cfs will also want to carry this new group.

alt.med.cfs.info (moderated)

This group will focus on chronic fatigue syndrome / myalgic
encephalomyelitis, and will contain electronic periodicals, lengthy
documents, and articles from the CFS Newswire service.  The group will be
moderated by the CFS/ME Computer Networking Project, which has developed
and operates the CFS Newswire service.  Any site that carries the
discussion group alt.med.cfs will also want to carry this new group.
