I would like to propose to gateway the wholesys-l@netcom.com mailing list
to a bit.listserv.wholesys-l newsgroup.

Wholesys-l , of which I am the list owner, is for the discussion of Whole
Systems, i.e. it is for systems thinking as regards to economy, ecology,
sociology, business, metaphysics, or any other area for that matter, and
for applying systems principles to transforming our world.

The list has more than 200 members and has a lot of traffic. I have
received numerous requests for alternative ways of reading the messages,
such as a newsgroup. Many people have been overwhelmed by the number of
messages and would be more comfortable with a newsgroup format. Nobody
raised any objections to gatewaying to a newsgroup.

We would also like to make the subjects of the list accessible to a wider
audience.

There is an existing sci.systems newsgroup, which is however more narrow in
focus and has little overlap. At this point I find big.listserv.wholesys-l
the most attractive location.
