I need mosquito eggs!

Salutaions. My name is Michael Rennie. I am a student at the
University of Calgary in my 4th year of the Ecology Co-op program. I am
presently in an Invertebrate Zoology course and am doing a prey selection
experiment on Triops longicaudatus. I need Mosquito eggs (actually, the
larvae) as one of the prey options, since it is known that Triops dig 'em
already, and we're selecting our prey based on their occupying different
microhabitats; we have a benthic organism (probably tubifex worms), an
organism that hangs out in the water column (either Daphnia magna,
Ceriodaphnia dubia, or Artemia), and we need something for the water-air
boundary.

Calgary in the winter is not exactly warm, so finding mosquito
eggs is, shall we say, difficult. So, I am looking to obtain some from
somewhere else. If you have any suggestions on where I can find some, or
any options I can seek for an alternate organism, please feel free.

Mike
