ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY DEPARTMENT: University Of California, Davis.
Regional Field Coordinator for Minor Pesticide Use Clearances (IR-4) Western
Region. Department of Environmental Toxicology, University Of California,
Davis. Provide statewide and regional coordination of pesticide registration
issues in the various activities of the National IR-4 Program, work with UC
specialist and farm advisors, and with representatives from other states of
the western region as well as other federal and state agencies. Establish
trials, administer research grants, and prepare reports relating to the
registration and safe sue of agricultural pest contol agents. Reports to the
Director, IR-4 Leader Laboratory, Environmental Toxicology, UC Davis.

Management and Senior Professionals (M&SP) Grade I, Salary Range: $50,700 -
$76,000. Ph.D. in a field of science, such as agricultural or biological
science, preferably with specialties in entomology, plant pathology, weed
control, biocont rol, agricultural chemistry, toxicology or other areas of
pest control. At least three years experience in state, federal, university,
or other related position of responsibility and decision making dealing with
pesticide regulations, research, extension and/or use. Closing Date: Open
