     IMMEDIATE OPENING: Assistant Project Scientist/Engineer

     Roy F. Weston, Inc. has an immediate entry-level opening for an
     individual with a background in environmental science or engineering,
     to provide support for environmental, safety, and health (ES&H)
     programs of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and support projects
     for other clients.  We are looking for a motivated, flexible person
     who can pitch in where needed on a variety of tasks.  Primary
     assignments would include researching and summarizing ES&H
     regulations; creating and maintaining WWW pages; tracking the status
     and progress of DOE ES&H programs and activities; and preparing
     reports and issue papers for the DOE client.  Other projects will
     include environmental site assessments, sampling, environmental
     compliance audits, and remedial design.

     Qualifications: (1) Bachelor's degree in science or engineering in an
     environmental or health & safety related field.  (2) Good
     communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability.  (3) Able to work
     well with people.  Position involves frequent client interactions
     requiring a tactful, professional attitude.  Previous work experience
     a plus but not required.

     Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
