Coltharp Memorial Internship
Association for Educational Communications and Technology
Division of Educational Media Management

Jerry Ray Coltharp was Manager of the Audio Visual Learning Technology
Center of Miami University - Oxford, Ohio and served as Advertising
Manager for the AECT Division of Educational Media Management's Media
Management Journal. Jerry epitomized the dedicated professional in his
contributions to the media field and he provided leadership in media
organizations at the state, regional, and national levels.

Following his untimely death in 1987, the Division of Educational Media
Management originated this internship award to carry on the spirit of
dedication and creative involvement which Jerry Coltharp exemplified. The
award is open to any full or part-time graduate student and grants
financial support for the awardee to attend the AECT convention where the
intern participates in DEMM governance and social activities as well as
those of the AECT intern program.

Applications must be submitted to AECT by October 16, 1998. For more
information contact AECT Headquarters, 1025 Vermont Ave., NW, Suite 820,
Washington DDC, 20005-3516 (202/347-7834). Request an AECT intern
application package as well as the DEMM Coltharp Memorial Internship
