Lesley College Announces A Call for Chapter Manuscripts for a
forthcoming volume of essays entitled PASSION & PEDAGOGY:
CREATION, RELATION, and TRANSFORMATION in TEACHING. This
volume is part of the Lesley College Arts and Education
Series. The forthcoming volume will contain essays that
explore creativity and art experiences related to teacher's
knowledge, teachers' voices, and teacher transformation
through student-teacher interaction.

The editors of this volume invite authors to explore:
1)creativity and art experiences that enable teachers to
sustain their personal growth and passion for teaching;
2)using various forms of creativity and art experience to
construct meaning; 3)creativity and arts experiences
reflective of the shift from modern to postmodern educational
theory and practice; 4)creativity and arts experiences that
make visible traditionally unseen aspects of teacher's
identity: gender, intelligence mode, political perspective,
self knowledge, emotional/intellectual development, social
perception, talent, spiritual conviction, and personality;
5)creativity and arts experiences used to overcome toxic
student- teacher interaction: interactions that stifle
growth, creativity, and insight; 6)creativity and arts
experiences that enable mutual and relational modes of power
within student-teacher interactions.

We define creativity and art experiences in their broadest
sense. We encourage expression of individual teacher and
students narratives, and teacher-student collaborations.

Education Series Editor, Lesley College, 29 Everett St.,
