Hi,

I am trying to connect an AIX4.2 RS6000 server with an OS2 2.1 pc on a
token ring network but failed. Would you kindly to give me some advices
what are needed to be able to make the configuration work?

I had a configured system which is running AIX3.25 with the os2 2.1 and
it works perfectly.

The only thing I noticed is the AIX3.25 has installed with "Netbios on
Token ring" which the AIX4.21 box has not.

Does AIX4.21 need to install "Netbios on Token ring"???

/etc/nbdeamon exist only in AIX3.25 but not on AIX4.21. Is it the
problem?

Thanks in advance.

Barry
