I remember ca. 1980 sitting next to someone else who was typing by hand
about 20 pages of printed zap statements for IDMS.  I thought to  myself:  (1)
better you than I; and (2) how can the probability of error  possibly be less
than 100%?  An error would, of course, require even more  work on the part of the
vendor and then of the customer to install a fix to a  incorrectly typed fix.
