I have designed some video files to be included on a cdrom made in
authorware. I have never used authorware before and I am just handing over
my video files to a company who are making the cd. I wanted to know what
file types can be imported into authorware and what codecs I can use.
Ideally I would like to encode my videos to .avi files and use the divx
codec. Will authorware allow me to do this? Also will each user of the cd
need to have the divx codec installed on their computer or will authorware
include it in the final presentation file that it generates. I ask all this
because I have been given a limited amount of disk space and I want to fit
on as much video as possible.
Thanks,
Dan Gwynne
