Hello everyone!

We're now just eleven days from the start of TAAC8's Pre-Conference
training program and many of our classes (both Pre and Post-Conference)
are getting very near their maximum attendance. Right now I have just
three openings left in both Instructional Systems for eLearning
(pre-con) and INNOVATE!!! (post-con). Basic descriptions are provided below:

Instructional Systems for eLearning PRECON - Oct 20-22

Well built training programs are designed using a systematic approach
that helps to ensure the quality of instruction. Amongst other things,
this process will help build the bridge that connects management's NEED
to the actual outcome. The stronger that bridge, the more relevant the
outcome is to meeting the need, or creating the payoff that management
is looking for.

In this three-day class we will discuss the instructional design process
from the analysis of learning needs to the evaluation of the completed
project with a focus on determining the Return on Investment (ROI).

INNOVATE!!! POSTCON - Oct 26-27

Why isn't there much innovation in the design of e-learning courses?

Are you sick of designing boring, text-heavy content? Tired of building
digital page-turners that promote "e-reading" instead of eLearning? Are
you looking for ways to motivate your students, increase retention, and
reduce overall cost-of-ownership?

Designing compelling, fun, and exciting eLearning that captures the
student's imagination and remains instructionally sound doesn't have to
break your company's bank account or take years in the making.

Don't leave good design to chance! Creating effective eLearning doesn't
happen by accident - it takes the kind of methodology, mind set, and
experience base this course provides.
