Perhaps about twenty years ago - somewhere around 1986, plus or minus two years - I remember seeing an announcement that the local University was getting a special terminal for a library of East Asian books. Part of the keyboard was illustrated. I distinctly remember that it had an extra row of keys above the number keys, which was also used for printable characters. Since the currently-used Chinese-language input systems use only the conventional keyboard, I would like to find more information about this terminal. I suspect it that the terminal was one that handled such codes as ALA Extended ASCII and, for Chinese, EACC. In any event, in my attempts at searching for this sort of thing through Google, I have found nothing about it. Perhaps someone here might remember the sort of keyboard I am referring to. John Savard

I believe I now know the name of that for which I seek information. An OCLC terminal with the CJK 350 feature. John Savard
