It's hard to be religious when certain people are never incinerated by bolts
                                 of lightning.

Subject: Basque Writer

Perhaps you can help me answer this intriguing question. I am married
to a Basque, she is Diharce on her father's side and Iriarte on her
mother's side, and although not a Basque myself I am been very
interested in Basque history and culture. I am half Italian on my
mother's side. Her maiden name is Giacopuzzi and her parents came from
the region of Verona, Italy, where she still has relatives. I was
greatly surprised when in the course of researching the Giacopuzzi
family I came upon a Basque writer named, of all things, Giovanni
Giacopuzzi. I found his name in a list of writers in the Basque Country
in Spain. I would like to know more about this writer including, of
course, how he came to be in the Basque Country. Can you help me? I just
re-bookmarked your website after an absence of several months and I
intend to visit often.
