Can anyone provide me with the specific methodologies, spreadsheets, etc. that detail how you come up with various rates to charge for computer services. I am responsible for coming up with rates for various mainframe, AS/400, PC services in a local government setting. I am always looking for new or better ways of coming up with fair, easily justifiable and understandable chargebacks. Currently we run a Computer Associates product called JARS on the IBM ES/9000 mainframe system, however the number of AS/400's is growing steadily, five so far, and JARS can not handle this. We're also getting started in Internet and other new services and need assistance in setting up a better chargeback system. Can anyone also point me in the direction of a good book, periodical, etc. that would contain helpful information. I'm in need of specifics rather than general ideas. Thank you for your assistance.
