Because it would be a lot more comfortable and easier to just do it
under an emulator.

First, I'd have to go dig out my coco. I know where it's at, but I
would have to find the cables. I've gone through two moves since I
packed it away.

Second, I'd have to hook it up to the tv. I never bought a monitor. I
stayed with a spare tv until the end. Frankly, after spending years
using a quality monitor, going back to a tv doesn't sound like fun.
Nostalgic, yes. Fun, no.

Third, what I'm wanting to test would be difficult to do with a couple
of floppy drives. I never bought a hard drive.

(Even for just using the CoCo to copy the files, I'd still have to do
#1 and #2. And I wouldn't have any way to get the data from the coco
to my PC. I sold that coco modem years ago, my current pc doesn't have
a modem.)

On the other hand, using an emulator:

1) It's easy to find and set up.

2) I don't need a tv.

3) I can use a virtual hard drive. A lot easier.

4) I can still keep using this keyboard. Back then, I was familiar
with that keyboard so it was okay. But that's been a few years!

Over all, it would just be a heck of a lot easier.

But, since I couldn't find a copy of it, I just shelved the idea.
