I've started a topic on the MaltedMedia list about returning to this
newsgroup, since it appears to me that SPAM has all but disappeared
here. As I expected, the idea met with stiff resistance from outspoken
members of that list.

So what is the state of this newsgroup these days? Has the SPAM all
but gone? I see the occasional "Who's Here" post, which makes me think
that people are still popping in from time to time.

This used to be such a great resource. I would really like to see it
reach its former stature again.
