What kind of connectors are on the back of your >standard Sound Blaster type of card? Hi Zack. My choice would be to use two pairs of good old RCA Phono jacks, as found on the rear of any stereo component. Easy and abvious how to connect to a stereo amp or whatever. An alternative would be the round DIN connector used on the MM/1 board, but it's too weird and confusing and inflexible to work with, since both In and Out go to it. Another would be the 1/4" phone jacks still used on some pro audio gig gear, but they're big and make terrible contact -- lots of noise. They're still used only cuz they can be connected and disconnected a zillion times without getting any worse. (They were originally developed for switching phone calls 100 years ago!)
