Yeh the 340 flies doesn't it!

I haven't tried iffshow, but gifshow works fine on my system. I had a few
problems with pallettes at first, but got a new windio and now all is well.
Did you get the new windio? It will likely fix your problems.

Hmmn, on my system, I keep wishing it didn't take so long looking at the
floppy before checking the hard drive. I had had problems once or twice
before I upgraded where my hard drive hadn't spun up enough by the time
it was accessed and stange things would happen, but not now.

Yeh, there really is a noticible difference with the 340. On mine, I have
the speed down a couple notches from optimum due to slow memory and it still
really cruises. Boy, watching OXM read in messages left in my mailbox is
really impressive. And keep in mind that at work, I use a 68040 OSK box that
is REALLY fast. If my MM/1 still seems to be doing good after using that,
you know it's an inprovement.
