Mark> Why are we seeing this? Your problems with Delphi are your Mark> problems. Is it necessary to post your complaints to the Mark> list? Kevin Plankey (who works for Delphi) sent this list the almost same exact reply that I got directly/locally -- I saw it in both places myself. I sent this list a copy of my response because it was in the e-mail header. And you're "seeing this" because you looked at it! :) Mark> I see you still use the "attack and belittle" style of Mark> dealing with people. As others have mentioned, why not try Mark> to be a little less offensive? You might find you get more Mark> favorable responses. Mark> Mark> Lighten up Paul. Mark, have you been following the problems we've had in getting my MIDI stuff uploaded to Cabrales & WUArchive? You need to see it in other people's eyes before you stab at it. _I_ have been patiently waiting for _months_ for Delphi to fix these things. When they can't even understand my messages _correctly_, that shows a level of _listening_ isn't there: I mentioned their FTP, not Mail, has bugs; yet they only talk about Mail. The response I typed, the one you saw on this list, was my THIRD attempt at getting them straightened out in this round alone (i.e. not counting the other rounds over the months). And you got to see a copy because Kevin@Delphi sent his reply to this list. If anything, tell Delphi to stop making it public and my replies won't be seen everywhere. Better yet, help us tell Delphi they need to fix those bugs. This episode can be taken as a relevent issue to this list: Due to Delphi's bugs with FTP, I sent up files in the wrong format, which caused several people strife. And to explain the difficulties we're having in getting Delphi to fix its bugs, to have Sysops beware and kinda check anything coming from Delphi via FTP. Now that we all (should) know what's going on, we can deal with it (uuencode everything) and get on with these projects that I uploaded. -- thx, Paul Seniura (from Oklahoma City)
